Every school deserves to have the resources needed to deliver high-quality education and experiences for every child. Yet our schools are facing chronic funding shortages, with many struggling to buy or replace basic supplies, classroom resources and equipment.
No school should have to do without.
School Resources Exchange is an online marketplace and community specifically for schools. Through the service, we’re creating a schools’ circular community where schools can “buy – sell – swap“ items directly with each other.
If your school budget has no budget but need resources… then check your cupboards/storage areas, list those unused items on the site and swap for things your school really needs.
If your school is looking for alternative ways to bolster a depleted school budget… then sell those no-longer-needed items and generate extra income for your school.
We are a free service – we don’t charge schools to join or take a percentage of any sales – and our aim is to ensure all schools are able to access school supplies and resources irrespective of school budget constraints.

Create an account. You can then buy, sell, or swap items.
2. Post your item
Complete the listings form and post your item on the site.
3. Liaise with the buyer
Finalise the details with your buyer e.g. confirming delivery and payment
4. Sell your items
The buyer receives their item. You receive money for the sale. It's a happy day for everyone involved!

4. Receiving your items
The seller receives their money. You receive your lovely new item. Squeals of joy can be heard all around!

4. Swapping items
Your swap partner receives their items. You receive your items. And you feel like an environmental warrior while also feeling a little smug because your new lovely new items didn’t require payment!

2. Evaluating sustainability
We’ll contact you to discuss the items in more detail and to evaluate if they’re suitable for donation.
3. Finding the perfect match
If items are suitable then we’ll match your items with one of our partner organisations.
4. A new home
Your items will have a new home and a renewed purpose.
